The auction of these properties will take place at 11.15am on Wednesday, 24 August, at Michael James Organisation’s offices: 63 Victoria Street, Somerset West.
Five of the properties are located in Mitchell’s Plain – two in Tafelsig, two in Woodlands and one in Strandfontein, according to the auction house’s Samantha James.
Four of these, varying in size from 220m² to 336m², have a Single Residential 1 zoning, while the fifth measures 714m² and has a Community 2 zoning, she says.
The Tafelsig erven are adjacent to each other, being 142 and 144 Erica Way, and measure 220m² each.
The other residential plots, also adjacent, are located at 81 and 83 Selene Way, Woodlands, and cover 336m² and 285m² respectively.
The Community 2 site is at 207 Dennegeur Avenue, Strandfontein, and has an extent of 714m².
In Khayelitsha, a stand with a Single Residential 2 zoning is available, sited at 40 Nokwazi Square, Eyethu. This property measures 474m².
There are also two erven with General Business 4 zonings, positioned at 89 Luma Street (244m²) and 2 Dade Street (339m²), James says.
The terms of each auction include payment of a 10 percent deposit plus auctioneer’s commission on the fall of the hammer, with the balance payable on transfer. The purchaser will also be required to pay VAT on the purchase price.
In addition, bidders will have to pay a R10 000 registration fee to participate in the auction.
